Aundrea Gomez

About
I’m 17 years old and a senior in high school/dual enrollment student at Miami Dade College. I hope to honor Yahuah, my Elohim, in all that I do. This includes working diligently, with a sincere heart (Eph’siyim 6:5, TS2009). I have not had a job before, but I know that I can be trusted with the responsibility.

Teacher Feedback
Jennifer Basile, MDC Art Professor
Aundrea Gomez was a student in my six-week summer term A Drawing class at Miami Dade College Kendall Campus. Aundrea is an exemplary student excelling in many areas of drawing from observation. She was able to capture with proficiency mastery of skills in drawing. She understands measurable space in observational drawing as well as, control of tools, weighted line work, and shading of values. She also has excellent compositional skills and challenges herself to go beyond the basic ask of homework assignments which is evidenced in her portfolio. At 16 years of age, she has demonstrated college level maturity at handling herself in and out the classroom. She opted for a course that is compressed into six weeks, incredibly difficult for most students and she soared with ease. Aundrea’s drawing portfolio exceeds well past the average art major and competes well with college students for scholarship.
Please accept this recommendation as commendable for review of Aundrea Gomez’s portfolio.

Aundrea is a quiet and introspective young woman whose love of beautiful things is revealed in her artistic nature. She is slow to volunteer information in class but when prompted is capable of providing great insight into whatever topic discussed. It is clear that she thinks before she speaks and when she decides to add something to the conversation, her comments are meaningful and well-considered. One aspect of Aundrea’s character that I have observed that brings me great joy is that she has a love for reading the Bible, understanding it and talking about what she learned with others. She displayed a discernment well beyond her years in our discussions. She is not afraid to share the truth, even when it may be perceived by others as controversial. Aundrea is thoughtful, intelligent and highly capable. It was a blessing to have her in my class.

In her studies, Aundrea has presented herself responsible and capable. As evidence in the former feedback examples, she has excelled in the different endeavors she has engaged in. As the eldest sibling, she practices and exhibits many qualities which reflect a high level of achievement and perseverance. Any employer would be blessed to have this hard-working, detail-oriented, and kind-hearted young woman on their team.
