“in order for them to train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, blameless, workers at home, good, subject to their own husbands, in order that the word of Elohim is not evil spoken of. Likewise urge the young men to be sensible.” Titos (Titus) 2:4-6
Being sensible means exhibiting self-control, being in our right minds, and not thinking higher of ourselves than we should. When difficult situations come around, our minds can become a whirlwind of tangled thoughts which may lead to difficulty in reaching a right-mind status. Especially when we are striving on our own power. Self-control is a fruit of the Ruach, and He alone is able to bridle thoughts, minds, and actions. Our renewal by the Ruach which has been poured out on us richly by Yahusha our Savior allows us to keep our minds on maintaining good works – and sometimes those works are internal. Perhaps there is no greater work we can do than the laying down of our will so that He may perfect sensibility through His Ruach.
