“Now, brothers, we do not wish you to be ignorant concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you be sad as others who have no expectation.” 1 Thessalonians 4:13
Our sadness does not have to be an all-encompassing sadness because the hope of eternity is always there – even if only barely perceived. Eternity changes perspectives. Reframes situations. Formulates new feelings. Yahusha died and rose again. Do you really believe this? Do you live as if this is true? Because what this means is that absolutely nothing is outside the realm of what the Father can do. It also means suffering has a purpose. Find that meaning in your suffering. Ask for eyes to see and ears to hear your current circumstances from the perspective of the Father – the one that always has eternity in mind. Without the expectation of eternity, you are living as an unbeliever, lost in sorrows, worry, and anxiety. Do not be ignorant of the meaning in suffering portrayed at the stake of Yahusha Messiah.
