“… and he who gathered much did not have too much, and he who gathered little did not have too little. Each one gathered according to his need.” Exodus 16:18
There is comfort in the knowing that He provides for our needs. There is discomfort in considering that our wants are not necessarily our needs. This realization can lead us to a crossroads where we need to be clear with ourselves about our willingness to trust Him. Often times what we need in a particular moment may not look anything like what we may be desiring. It is here that we surrender our preconceived notions of what is needed to the One who knows and holds all. We can trust Him, but will we accept His will willingly. Even difficult circumstances are what is needed in a particular moment. Yahusha at the stake was difficult, but it was needed, and He was willing.
