“And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, and she took of its fruit and ate.” Genesis 3:6
We are never told that the Tree of Life was pleasant to the eyes or desirable. Be careful of partaking in things that look good and seem right without the counsel and direction of Yahuah. It may be that the very thing that feels really good and seems so perfect is a test. All things must be tested through prayer, patience, listening to the Ruach, and studying the Written Word. Quickness to act is a proper response to His speaking to us. In other circumstances, patience and stillness before Him is necessary. We must quiet the world and listen intently for His voice. His direction may not always look good to us from a natural perspective, but we can be assured that if we are walking in His Truth and seeking His Word, the choice will always produce life.
