“And having been awakened He rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. And He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you not yet belief?” Mark 4:39-40
How do we perceive our circumstance? When we are stuck in a flood of relentless waves threatening to keep us fighting under the ocean of self-pity, Yahuah can reframe our circumstance. The Ruach is the absolute most effective counselor in speaking eternity and purpose into our hearts. So often when we are truly fighting to stay afloat and Ruach says, “Be still and know,” we do not believe. “How? I will drown in this!” Reframe the situation. He is able to let us breathe under water, still the sea, or throw us a lifesaver. Perhaps the waters that were previously drowning us can become the very same ones that are now keeping us afloat. We must reframe our circumstance in light of who He is.
