“The slaughterings of Elohim are a broken spirit, A heart broken and crushed, O Elohim, These You do not despise.” Psalms 51:17
How easy it is to believe the lie that we need to have it all together to be a good daughter of the King. Pain, suffering, disappointment … (the list can be long) can eat away at the truth He always reminds us of, and that is that we are known. Right where we are, we are meant to be, for His purpose. How deceitful to tell ourselves our suffering is pointless. We need to worship through the pain. Hold both seemingly completely opposite emotions of hurt and joy at the same time because He allows us to. He doesn’t belittle our pain; He says I am with you through it. Our broken spirit can bring us closer to our Father as we seek His comfort and rest in knowing He brings the fire in acceptance of this offering and will purify us through it.
